NOTICE: ***** BACKYARD BURNING SEASON FROM OCTOBER 1ST THROUGH DECEMBER 15TH OPENED ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 24TH! *****

Annually there are two (2) Backyard Burn Seasons - the first is from March 1 to June 15, and the second is from October 1 to December 15. Clackamas Fire DIstrict #1 and the Oregon Department of Forestry may have different burn restrictions in place. You must follow the most restrictive limitations.

  2. Go to the Daily and Archive for the ODF - Willamette Valley Open Burn Announcement and click on the date for the announcement that you want to see (formatted as YYYY_MMDD_HHMM_PDT/PST_Burn_Advisory.htm).

  3. You can burn if and only if CFD#1 and ODF are allowing backyard burning.
